Overview

Commissioning technician position in the Nîmes area, with an installer of lifting equipment. You take over the equipment at the end of installation and see it through to commissioning: adjustment, inspection, finishing, handover. The works supervisor oversees the project; the technical side is yours.

Duties

Commission new lifts, hoists and escalators, through to entry into service.
Check that the installation complies with good practice and with regulations.
Fit and assemble parts according to the installation or modernisation methods, including specifications and time allowances.
Achieve the standard of finishing and adjustment expected by the customer and by the after-sales department.
Work safely: company instructions, collective and individual protective equipment.
Record each site phase and each difficulty on the mission sheets.

Profile sought

Significant experience in a technical environment: lifts, door automation, access control, heating or a related trade.
Position open to lift professionals and to holders of a BEP Électrotechnique (vocational diploma in electrical engineering), CAP, Bac Pro EIE, MSMA or equivalent.
Good interpersonal skills, attentive to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Autonomy, pragmatism, thoroughness, comfortable with IT tools.
Category B driving licence required.
